**Who We Are**: Benchmark Commodities Ltd. is a Canadian company that buys and sells grains and By-products for agricultural producers in the Western provinces. Our "one stop shop" approach allows us to purchase, sell, transport, and deliver commodities to customers across provincial borders, including Eastern Canada, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia. In addition to transporting commodities via railway, Benchmark Commodities Ltd. has a trucking fleet and utilizes outside carriers. **What We Are Looking For**: The person must be a self starter who is diligent, responsible, and conscientious person who takes pride in their work. Hardworking, reliable, committed, efficient, extremely organized and pro-active. **Responsibilities**: Assist with the new development and ongoing relationships with Traders customers, suppliers, pricing modules and contracts to ensure the best value for the company and customer. Understand what are market trends and industry developments to assist in identifying opportunities and potential risks. Assist with monitoring customer and company inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of shipments. Assist with Agriculture and Farming admin duties that relate to farming activities within the organization. Ensure compliance with company guidelines and policies related to commodities and related company duties. Provide assistance with process and support to other team members as needed **Requirements**: Any secondary education and experience in agriculture or a related field. Strong Analytical, Sales and Negotiation skills Basic Knowledge of various grain and by-products along with markets trends and pricing Ability to maintain relationships with customer, suppliers and farms. Excellent proficiency in computer software for tracking and reporting Commitment to attention to detail in all work. **Required Skills**: - Speaking - Critical Thinking - Active Listening - Sales Background - Strong written and computer skill set - interpersonal, easygoing, and communication skills **Knowledge Areas** - Mathematics - Customer Service - Transportation of commodities Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 160 per week **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Dental care - Extended health care - On-site parking Schedule: - Monday to Friday **Experience**: - Commodity/Agriculture: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person
