**Job Description** The Opportunity**:
Are you obsessed with fashion and have a flair for numbers? Join the Reitmans buying team as the Assistant to a Fashion Buyer, where you'll merge your style savvy with analytical skills to support our dynamic buying process.

**What You'll Do**:

- Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Prepare best-seller reports alongside the Product Manager.
- Attend fit sessions and review samples, labels, and advertising materials to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain and update documentation, including look books and purchase order records.
- Monitor and track budgets, providing regular updates to the buying team..
- Prepare materials for meetings and participate in team discussions.

**Qualifications** Who you are**:

- College diploma in Fashion Merchandising, administration or equivalent field of study.
- 1-year + related experience
- Excellent sense of style and knowledge of fashion trends
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Good understanding of competitive landscape and trends
