**TITLE - GOLF SERVICES TECHNICIAN**

**STATUS - Seasonal**

**REPORTS TO: Golf Operations Manager/Assistant Professional**

**DESCRIPTION**:

- Ensure golf carts are set up each day with score card, yardage book, tees, water and pencil on every vehicle.
- Ready golf carts for tournaments with cart plates and gifts etc.
- Make sure all clubs are cleaned when unloaded from cart and put on club pick up rack.
- Ensure the cart staging area and parking lot are clean at all times
- Maintain the professional presentation of the practice facilities at all times
- Loading and unloading of golf carts.
- Service bag drop and pick up areas to ensure guests are being looked after.
- Ensure carts are stored in assigned charging bays with correct charger in place.
- Maintain daily, weekly and monthly cart fleet maintenance program with Manager and ensure carts are clean and in good working order.
- Wash and dry off carts every day, ArmourAll tires and place cart on charge.
- Keep back shop clean and tidy, empty garbage regularly.
- Recycle all cans, glass and paper products as directed
- Facilitate regular driving range picks and make sure balls are washed and in good condition before stocking range.
- Separate fit balls and range balls for the Titleist Fitting Centre
- Opening and closing of backshop.
- Report damage from misuse or by accident to golf carts, golf course, practice facility and club buildings by staff or guests to senior staff members.
- When required, assist professional staff in all areas of golf operations.
- Monitor inventory of supplies (scorecards, pencils, tees etc.) and report to senior staff members.
- This position is classified as safety sensitive, defined in accordance with our fit for duty program

- High School/University Student
- Strong Work Ethic
