Live-in Personal Support Worker

**Specific Position Requirements**:

- Must be a **Personal Support Worker (PSW)** or **PSW equivalent**, with certification from a recognized institution.
- Must have **reliable transportation** to travel to and from client home.
- Must have **experience supporting individuals with Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia**:

- While not mandatory, knowledge of the **Italian language** is considered an asset.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
- Perform delegated and assigned tasks under the supervision of a Care Manager
- Support clients in maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Foster companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations.
- Document care provided and report any changes in clients' condition to the Care Manager.
- Respect clients' privacy, dignity, and cultural preferences at all times.

**Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of a recognized Personal Support Worker program.
- Genuine compassion and dedication to improving lives.
- Flexibility to adapt to different care needs and schedules.
- Strong communication skills to build meaningful relationships.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR.
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Updated immunization record including TB Test (last 12 months)
