**Job Overview**
This role is responsible for maintaining up-to-date books for the clients assigned to them. You will work closely with the accounting team to ensure our client’s full accounting cycle is accurate and representative of their business.
**Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Reconcile accounts.
- Post journal entries.
- Prepare financial reports.
- Support the accounting team with government remittance, payroll processing, annual statements, and returns.
- Use Xero, QBO, or Excel and supporting software such as DEXT and Hubdoc to complete bookkeeping tasks.
- Continue to gain proficiency with cloud-based software to support organizational efficiency.
- Make effective use of Google Docs, Google Calendar, Google Sheets, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
- Interact with clients using excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Employ strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Use advanced problem-solving skills in the resolution of day-to-day challenges.

This role is remote. Our office is in London, Ontario but the team works from their homes. We have clients we’ve never met in person, all across Canada.
