Equity Associate Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Wealth team at Mercer. This role will be based in Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
**We will count on you to**:
- Participate as part of the Canadian portfolio management team to manage equity funds and achieve client outcomes.
- Contribute to all global equity committees to represent Canada.
- Be a self-starter, question, challenge, enhance and improve existing processes.
- Work collaboratively with our sustainability team to promote ESG thought leadership.
**What you need to have**:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in investments, with preference given to equity experience.
- CFA Charterholder (or study of CFA charter under way).
- Strong technology skillset & ability to learn new systems. Knowledge of Bloomberg, Factset, CRIMS an asset.
- Ability to work with excel is required.
- Proficient written and verbal skill set.
- Relevant work experience in investment management/consulting and related fields.

- Portfolio construction experience.

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $91,200 to $151,200.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
