You will represent Tribe Medical Group, the exclusive independent distributor authorized to sell Arthrex, Inc. products to surgeons and healthcare professionals throughout the territory. For this role, you will focus on the small joint family of products including but not limited to forefoot, midfoot, and hind foot procedures, ankle fracture, soft tissue tendon fixation, hand, wrist and elbow procedures, in addition to the biologic line of products. Our Medical Device Sales Representatives achieve sales quota’s by supporting surgeons and other surgical staff directly in the operating room (OR) each and every day, engage in continuous medical education programs, and more. They operate with the utmost professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity that best represents Tribe. **Qualifications**: - Previous sales experience is an asset; however, Tribe provides a comprehensive training program that is unique to the medical device industry in Canada, entailing a 6 month curriculum that will prepare you to be an expert on Arthrex’s devices, orthopaedic surgical techniques, and cutting-edge technologies. - Ability to travel outside of the province for Medical Education labs is required. - Ability to travel to the US is required as you will periodically travel to and from Arthrex’s headquarters in Naples, FL with customers and for training programs. - Bachelor's Degree or post-secondary education is required. Preferred background in Kinesiology, BioMedical, or a focus on orthopaedic would be considered an asset. Anything related to the human anatomy would also be preferred. - Background in competitive sports or sports medicine is preferred and considered an asset. - Must be comfortable in open operating room environments. Previous knowledge of operating room protocols and procedures is preferred and considered an asset. - Excellent time management and communication skills. - Valid provincial Driver's license is required. - Physical ability to stand or sit for long periods of time and is comfortable working in a health care environment - Other duties as required. **Benefits**: - We offer a competitive base pay with commission with eligibility for bonus. - Monthly auto allowance, parking and gas reimbursement. - Extended healthcare benefits. - Monthly cellphone reimbursement.
