The lead of business analysis is responsible for leading a team of business analysts and overseeing the execution of best practices on one or more projects across multiple business areas within a focus on IIBA defined business analysis perspectives. The lead will be an expert practitioner employing BA techniques for planning, elicitation, requirements management, strategic analysis and design, and solution validation.

You are great at:
- Provide effective business analysis leadership, coaching and mentorship to team members- Tailor coaching based on needs, and deal with skill deficiencies- Lead and develop work schedules, evaluate project progress, and recommend steps necessary to meet commitments across one or more projects.- Lead the standardization of processes and best practices within focus on a business analysis perspective.- Collaborate with business stakeholders and senior business leaders in the capacity of a business analyst, to identify strategic and innovative uses of technology and processes to drive business growth, profitability, and efficiencies.- Assist with developing an effective work plan to meet various project and stakeholder needs- Works with business systems analysts, architects, developers, and business partners to identify options for potential solutions and the impact to systems, assessing business suitability

You have:
- Post-secondary education in a related field (i.e. Computer Science, Business Administration) or equivalent combination of education and experience. CBAP certification preferred- At least 10 years of BA experience, working in a technology environment. Minimum 8 years of project delivery experience with 2 years of leadership experience- Experience leading and coaching multiple business analysts across one or more projects is preferred.- Experience leading and coaching multiple business analysts across one or more projects is preferred.-
- Extensive knowledge with insurance business software is required. (e.g., Policy Administration/Underwriting Systems, CRM, Billing, Claims, Broker portal and online quoting, etc.)
