**YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Our team with Brenntag Specialties currently has an opening for an Industry Market Manager, Material Science.

**ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manages an assigned group of suppliers on a North American basis;
- Analyze market trends and prepare forecast of assigned products to achieve Material Science overall target for inventory turns as well as individual target for dead and extremely slow moving stock;
- Be in regular dialogue with the Regional Sales Directors to make sure goals are aligned
- Manages activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure inventory minimum and established deadlines are met;
- Participates with sales management and the business units in establishing recommended price changes base on market intel;
- Contributes and participates with business units in the creation of product line strategic for select markets;
- Develops and maintains effective and strategic relationships with key suppliers;
- Provides technical support to the sales organization and/or other members of the marketing, procurement, regulatory and operations team as required;
- Ensures that business plans for identified focus industries are developed and implemented in a timely and effective manner;
- Determines potential gaps in product portfolio and investigates possible vendor partners to fill these gaps with respective business units.
- Deliver double digit profit growth year over year
- Ensure the continued education of our specialty sales and technical team through our partners
- Support the sales force to make sure they have all the necessary tools they need to succeed
- Be sure to utilize the expertise of the Technical field managers

**YOUR PROFILE**:
**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Business; Specialized courses covering target industries would be considered assets
- Previous sales or product experience in the chemical distribution or related industry (10 years)
- Superior presentation, communication and negotiation skills
- Strategic business, marketing & pricing skills
