The apprenticeship program in Ontario will allow you to work with licensed technicians and earn on the job while completing your three levels of required schooling. We are seeking a driven individual who wants to learn and grow in the auto body industry. Over our years in business we have helped many apprentices through the program and are currently in need of someone starting out their journey to come join us
While all of the skills related to the job are taught during apprenticeship, this type of work is generally suited to individuals with strong mechanical aptitude as well as good attention to detail. Any experience with welding, sanding, or refinishing will help so feel free to let us know if you've tried your hand at any aspects of the job in the past.
**High school diploma is **REQUIRED** to register as an apprentice**
This position's responsibilities include:
- Disassembly and re-assembly of vehicles
- Organizing and labelling parts and fasteners
- Mirror matching old parts to new parts
- Performing minor filler work
- Learning and performing plastic & steel welding
- Learning composite and aluminum repairs
- Preparation of surfaces for refinishing
- Masking of panels and parts for refinishing
- Learning and performing required maintenance of shop equipment such as booth filters, compressor oils and breathable air filtration
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
**Salary**: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
