**Job Requirements and Skills**:
**Industry Expertise**:

- Proven experience as a mortgage broker with a successful track record in negotiating and closing transactions is ideal.
- Comprehensive understanding of the real estate market and lending institutions is ideal.

**Licensing and Certification**:

- Possession of AMF mortgage broker license and certification.
- New brokers and trainees must enroll in the Orbis 12 week training course.
- Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the mortgage industry.

**Skills**:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, lenders, and industry professionals.
- Proficient negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and conditions for clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks and find creative solutions.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Efficient time management skills to meet deadlines and ensure smooth deal progression.
- Familiarity with mortgage software and technology tools for efficient workflow management.
- Comfortable using industry-specific platforms and databases.

**Other Requirements**
- Minimum level of education: CEGEP or college degree
- English and French, written and oral
