**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Responsible for guest arrival and departure experience.
- Providing courteous, professional and attentive guest service at all times.
- Following up with guest requests or concerns efficiently.
- Establishing a personal rapport with the guest in order to learn about their needs and expectations, find opportunities to connect and “wow”.
- Assisting with guest room deliveries.
- In-depth knowledge of Fredericton and surrounding area, to offer recommendations, make bookings
- Responsible for general upkeep of public areas including the hotel lobbies and front entrance.
- Strong and effective communication/teamwork with all other departments (Housekeeping, Maintenance, Conference Services, Accounting, etc.).
- Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Applicant with Hospitality/Tourism Diploma would be an asset
- Knowledge of Fredericton history and tourism
- Able to speak both official languages is an asset
- Required to lift and carry guest luggage
- Dynamic, enthusiastic individual who thrives under pressure and is able to multi-ta
- Professional in presentation and demeanor
- Must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
- Previously demonstrated commitment to exceeding guests' expectations at all times
- Must be computer literate with experience in Windows, Internet
- Enjoys working in a team environment
- Must be able to work variable shifts including weekends, holidays and evenings
**Salary**: $17.50 per hour
