Housekeeper

Job Summary:
**Experience**:

- Cleaning experience in commercial, residential, Healthcare cleaning and laundry procedures preferred.
- Experience working with heavy duty cleaning equipment.
- Ability to read and write English and understand moderately complex oral and written instructions.
- Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures, knowledge of WHMIS, cleaning and sanitation products
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Competent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds, pushing and pulling
- Able to use computers and internet
- Evidence of good attendance
- Vulnerable Sector Search-No older than 6 months
- Two-step TB test or chest x-ray - No older than 6 months

**Working Conditions**
- Walking, with possibility of some upstairs walking, as a major job function.
- Standing, for lengths of time, up to 3 hours maximum, (1-2 hrs. usual) as a major job function.

- Stretching/lifting on a regular basis throughout the shift as a major job function.
