**Full job description**

RDM Enterprises Ltd. is one of the Lower Mainland's leading and most highly respected construction companies. Due to continued growth within our Civil Division, we are currently seeking applicants for a **Civil Construction Surveyor / Grademan for-Underground Pipe Installations/Earthworks/Utilities Installations.**

**Surveyor/Grademan Responsibilities include**:
Mandatory drug testing prior to employment.

Completing all tasks safely.

Knowledge of drawings, MMCD and supplementary specifications.

The ability of Setting lines and grades with very high accuracy.

Coordinating with the General Foreman and site Foreman.

The knowledge of completing red-line as-built drawings with very high accuracy.

**Be very familiar with Lazors/GPS/Total Station Optional will provide training.**

**Familiar with Lica equipment and software.**

Complete understanding of typical industry-standard safe working procedures, especially around trenches, traffic, existing utilities and heavy equipment.

Complete understanding of all positions within pipe crews, mass excavation crews, Utility Installations (Telus/BC Hydro) crews

Grademan (laying out accurate lines & grades), pipelayer (installation of concrete, PVC, & ductile iron pipe and PVC conduit), operator (cutting trenches to line and grade, equipment maintenance),

Friendly, professional, well-presented, and clear communicator,

Able to handle pressure and coordination of several tasks at once,

Problem solver,

Experience as a Grademan or surveyor minimum 3 years

Able to work 5 days per week, approx. 10 hours per day (over 40 is OT).

**Experience**:
**Civil Construction: 3 years (required)**

**Be very familiar with GPS/Total Station/loading of CADD files**

Licence/Certification:
Valid Driving Licence (required)
