**As our Payroll Manager, you will oversee all payroll functions for all Company payrolls and ensuring compliancy. You will provide strategic leadership to the organization with respect to payroll and provide direct leadership to the Payroll Department. This position works in close collaboration with Senior Management and the Senior Payroll/HR Advisor to manage change in a fast-paced environment.**

**Position Overview**:

- **Maintain awareness of current best practices in payroll \ to ensure the company remains compliant.**:

- Provides **advice and resolution to all managers, leaders and employees** on payroll matters.
- **Analyze payroll processes and systems** and offer suggestions to increase departmental efficiency.
- Ensures **compliance with provincial legislation and applicable collective agreements**:

- Partners with other business areas to provide expertise and data required to complete their budget/audit responsibilities.
- **Oversees payroll accruals and reconciliations to GL**.
- Ensure the **accuracy of the payroll processed** by the team.
- Provide **mentorship to the payroll team**.

**Qualifications Needed**:

- **Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in payroll and leadership**:

- Attainment or actively pursuing **Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) designation**:

- Strong leader who **builds trust and relationships** and is seen to be a champion of change.
- High attention to **detail and highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills**:

- **Proficient with MS Office Suite**:

- Professional communicator demonstrating high level of problem solving and conflict resolution.
