Registered Veterinary Technologist, RVT

Department: Medical Oncology

Location: Victoria, BC

**Central Victoria Veterinary Hospital i**s currently welcoming an experienced **Registered Veterinary Technologist, RVT** for our Medical Oncology Department

Previous experience in a specialty role (especially medical oncology) would be an asset but is not required.

**Schedule**: This position is full-time (40 hrs/wk). Shifts are 10 hours in length, 4 days per week. The department is currently open Monday through Thursday each week.
- Registered Veterinary Technician or eligible to register
- Perform clinical procedures; Venipuncture, Catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, chemotherapy drug administration and patient assessment
- Willing to enhance technical skills
- Ability to thrive in a steady and often fast paced environment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues and pet parents
- Proven ability to keep accurate patient records
- Strong ability to problem-solve

Pay: $19.00-$38.00 per hour
