Janitorial Supervisor

While working** **under the area Manager of Crystal Clean contracts you will ensure agreed upon services are being completed and employees are meeting targets and providing quality work.
- Perform routine audits at each contract work place to ensure quality service and customer needs are being met and addressed.
- Assist with initial and recurrent training.
- Address job performance issues and Conduct coaching and counseling as needed.
- Assist at work sites as needed including but not limited to assisting with general cleaning.
- Oversight of all safety related topics.
- Oversight and Control of all company owned equipment and products and ensure employees have the correct tools and products to conduct their jobs in a thorough manner.
- Address any ad-hoc items that may arise on a day-to-day basis to ensure customer satisfaction and to address any employee issues that may arise.
- Scheduling and manpower to align with customer needs.
- Some lifting, standing, bending and crouching will be necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Skilled in leading a team.
- Skilled in conducting routine audits
- Skilled in developing employee work schedules and moving manpower as needed.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to solve practical problems and identify potential safety or maintenance issues.
- Comply with all safety policies.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must have a valid Nova Scotia drivers license with a clean abstract. Company Car provided.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
