This is an opportunity for someone with a broad knowledge and experience in carpentry (preferably commercial construction) to come into an environment where you are working autonomously and trusted to do the job.

Reporting to the Service Manager, this position will spend their day at various sites within the lower mainland, working on small projects, repairs, and maintenance on commercial projects. A good majority of the sites are occupied spaces as we specialize in Tenant Improvements.

**_We are looking for a reliable, qualified person that has worked on commercial projects (tenant improvements) and has a range of skills including: _**
- drywall repairs and painting
- installation of doors, flooring, T-bar ceiling, windows, and door, bathroom accessories, door hardware, etc.
- minor structural framing
- Toilet partition installs
- Backing
- deficiencies
- general carpentry and
- millwork

**_Other than the above, you also need to have the following attributes and experience: _**
- commercial carpentry experience
- finishing carpentry
- millwork experience a definite asset
- strong customer service skills with the ability to work professionally within occupied spaces
- an excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
- the ability to lead by example and have a proven record of excellence in attendance, dependability, and safety
- effective time management, problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- high attention to detail, taking pride in your work, and capable of meeting quality standards
- a good team player attitude
- highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities

**_With the ability to: _**
- have the flexibility, at times, to work in the evening, weekend and/or early mornings as needed
- provide a clean drivers abstract (when assigned a company vehicle and every six months thereafter)
- follow all safety rules
