Job Title: Home Renovation Carpenter

Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- **Perform carpentry work involved in home renovation projects, including but not limited to framing, installing cabinets, laying flooring, and finishing trim work.**:

- **Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute renovation projects effectively.**:

- **Measure, cut, and shape materials accurately using appropriate tools and techniques.**:

- **Install and assemble various fixtures, fittings, and structures as per project requirements.**:

- **Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and project deadlines.**:

- **Collaborate with other tradespeople, contractors, and project managers to coordinate work activities and ensure project success.**:

- **Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage and care of tools and equipment.**:

- **Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the renovation process.**:

- **Provide guidance and mentorship to junior carpenters or apprentices as needed.**:

- **Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with the completed work.**:

- **Must have your own tools, vehicle & references.**:

- **You will be provided with a helper on each project.**

Qualifications:

- **Proven experience as a carpenter specializing in home renovations, with a minimum of [5] years in the field.**:

- **Proficiency in various carpentry techniques, including framing, trim work, cabinet installation, and flooring.**:

- **Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes.**:

- **Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately.**:

- **Excellent mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.**:

- **Familiarity with a wide range of hand and power tools used in carpentry work.**:

- **Attention to detail and precision in workmanship.**:

- **Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.**:

- **Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.**:

- **Valid driver's license and reliable transportation**.

Education and Certification:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or vocational training in carpentry is preferred.
- Certification in carpentry or related field is a plus.
