First Wellness is a private adolescent treatment and healing centre dedicated to supporting youth through mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and emotional dysregulation. We provide structured, therapeutic environments where youth can grow, reconnect with their families, and build resilience.

**Position Summary**

We are hiring a **full-time live-in Care Provider (House Parent)** to live in and manage a therapeutic home for up to four youth. Youth attend treatment programming during the day and return home in the evenings. Your role is to ensure the home remains safe, nurturing, and consistent—supporting youth with daily routines, emotional regulation, and positive relationships.

This position is ideal for someone who is compassionate, patient, and committed to youth wellness. We welcome individuals or couples who are ready to provide a stable and supportive living environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured home environment
- Provide emotional support and guidance to youth
- Assist with light household tasks and daily routines
- Transport youth to appointments and outings
- Administer medication (training provided)
- Monitor well-being and report concerns to the clinical team
- Engage youth in social, recreational, and educational activities

**Requirements**:

- Ability to pass a criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening
- Valid Driver’s License (required)
- Reside in or be willing to relocate to Red Deer, Alberta
- Experience working with youth is an asset
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
