**Opportunity**: Predictive Maintenance Corporation needs in house laboratory technicians to work in our fuel, oil and coolant analysis laboratory. This position is an opportunity for a technician to develop his/her career within a group of professional chemists and technicians.

- Preparation of oil and fuel samples to be tested.
- Run manual and automatic tests in compliance with ISO 17025-2017 and ASTM methods.
- Calibrate laboratory instruments according to ISO 17025-2017, ASTM and Tribologik internal quality requirements.

**Conditions**:

- Full time job (40 hours per week: 8-hour daily shift)
- Shift work may be required as hours and days may change
- Salary: according to qualifications and experience
- You will work under the supervision of the Laboratory Director

**Requirements**:

- You graduated from a certified technical school or college in analytical chemistry.
- Experience with modern analytical methods (ASTM) and laboratory instruments and such as ICP spectroscopy, infrared analysis (FTIR), gas chromatography, viscosity, water titration (Karl Fisher), etc.
- You are autonomous, motivated, disciplined, reliable, meticulous, diligent, dedicated and attentive to details.
- You are highly organized, enjoy people, are fully aware of the importance to follow instructions and have a positive attitude.
- Knowledge in lubricant and/or fuel analysis is a plus.

**Description de l'emploi**:

- Préparation des échantillons d'huile et de carburant à tester.
- Effectuer des tests manuels et automatiques conformément à la norme ISO 17025-2017 et aux méthodes ASTM.
- Calibrer les instruments de laboratoire selon les normes ISO 17025-2017, ASTM et les exigences de qualité internes de Tribologik.
- Documentation

**Conditions**:

- Emploi à temps plein (40 heures par semaine : équipe de 8 heures par jour).
- Il peut être nécessaire de travailler par roulement, les heures et les jours étant susceptibles d'être modifiés.
- Salaire : en fonction des qualifications et de l'expérience
- Vous travaillerez sous la supervision du directeur du laboratoire.

**Exigences**:

- Vous êtes diplômé d'une école technique certifiée ou d'un établissement d'enseignement supérieur en chimie analytique.
- Expérience des méthodes analytiques modernes (ASTM) et des instruments de laboratoire tels que la spectroscopie ICP, l'analyse infrarouge (FTIR), la chromatographie en phase gazeuse, la viscosité, le titrage de l'eau (Karl Fisher), etc.
- Vous êtes autonome, motivé, discipliné, fiable, méticuleux, appliqué, dévoué et attentif aux détails.
- Vous êtes très organisé, aimez les gens, êtes pleinement conscient de l'importance de suivre les instructions et avez une attitude positive.
- Des connaissances en matière d'analyse des lubrifiants et/ou des carburants sont un atout.
