**Nursery Summary**

Northern Pulp Forest Nursery is located in East Mines (Debert), Nova Scotia. The nursery produces up to six million seedlings annually. These seedlings are planted on woodlots and forest lands throughout Nova Scotia. We also grow balsam fir trees for Christmas tree sector. We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Nursery Crop Irrigation.

**Job Position Summary**

The purpose this General Labor position is to assist maintenance in all tasks when needed, this could include mowing, greenhouse repair, the repair or maintenance of mobile equipment, etc. Other responsibilities could be loading trucks with seedlings to be shipped out, help with thinning the new crop, and cone picking. The successful applicant will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor or the Machine Operator depending on the task.

**Duties Include**:

- General maintenance tasks assigned by supervisor.
- Loading trucks for shipping.
- Helping general crew as needed.

**Position Requirements**
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 16kg.
- Ability to work in hot and wet environments.
- Have a pair of CSA certified work boots that cover the ankle.
- Ability to work independently.
