**This position reports to**:
Manufacturing Unit Business Controller

**Your role and responsibilities**:
Accounts Payable - Processing supplier invoices, electronically linking receipt transactions with the packing slips, and invoice. - Reconciling supplier’s monthly statements. - Processing customs invoices. - Reviewing accrual reports. Accounts Receivable - Processing packing slips for invoicing. - Reviewing payments received, and processed in CFIN. - Investigating deductions on payments received, and processing required credit notes. - Reviewing month-end subledgers. - Participating in collection activities. Sub-Contractor Processing - Participating in processing subcontractor invoices for payment. - Reviewing month-end accrual reports. General Accounting - Performing journal entries. - Participating in month-end closing procedures. - Performing account reconciliations. - Reviewing financial reports. - Introduction to internal controls.

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Currently enrolled in a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) or Diploma of College Studies (DEC) program with a focus on accounting, demonstrating a strong commitment to developing expertise in financial management and accounting principles.
- Proficient in both English and French, enabling effective communication and collaboration in a bilingual work environment. French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team, contributing to a positive and productive work atmosphere, and supporting colleagues to achieve common goals.
