- Job brief_
- The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for providing overall support to the Plant manager, managing the activities of the Maintenance staff and including hands-on maintenance of the production lines, other mechanical equipment throughout the facility and building requirements. This role will perform repairs and help in the operation, monitoring, and performance of preventative maintenance as necessary.
- Responsibilities_
- Manage and maintain the maintenance department and associated staff.
- Schedule maintenance staff as required to support the plant.
- Communicated directly with equipment and parts vendors.
- Conducts routine production line maintenance and repairs such as; replacement of belts, cleaning and repair of filling heads, and troubleshooting performance issues.
- Schedule, document and perform preventive maintenance schedules and/or provide support for routine maintenance.
- Inspect the machinery equipment and manage the inspection records on a regular basis.
- Maintain inventory of parts and supplies, sources vendors and/or parts as needed.
- Records and reports on maintenance repairs and issues as needed.
- Ensure all safety and work procedures are followed.
- Responsible for building/facility needs such as painting, cleaning, fire/safety equipment, light bulb changes and other general facility needs.
- Provide training for line operators and shift leads on basic maintenance tasks as well as training on machine settings and parameters.
- Document and analyze trends of scheduled and unscheduled downtime.
- Assist with the development of written SOP.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Job Type: Permanent Full-time
- Probationary Period: 3 months or 480 hours, whichever longer
- Work Location: 2501-A Stanfield Rd, Mississauga ON, L4Y 1R6
- Shift Requirement: Must be flexible on Sunday to Fridays depending on operation needs
- Compensation: TBD in the interview
- Benefits: Group Benefits entitlement upon completion of probation time

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of mechanical experience required
- Previous experience in staff management
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills
- Must be available for any shift, weekend assignments and on-call depending on business needs
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Prior forklift certification preferred, recertification or initial certification will be completed when hired
- Experience and knowledge of hydraulics as an asset
- Knowledge of electricity on an industrial basis as an asset
- Certified for working at heights preferred
- Knowledge of PLC SW as an asset
