**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, R&D, you will be responsible for owning multiple projects, preparing business cases, maintaining KPIs, manage change management process, collaborate with cross functional teams, in addition support new product introductions. You will be eager to learn with an inquisitive mind, collaborative and develop relationships across the organization.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for managing multiple small to medium sized R&D projects impacting the entire Silfab product portfolio.
- Responsible for creating project briefs detailing scope, milestones, timeline, risks, and deliverables.
- Develop simple business cases to support the project justification.
- Ensure effective management of project finances by closely monitoring project spending, accurately reporting actuals versus budget, and providing timely updates to project stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a KPI dashboard to inform stakeholders on the status of the different projects.
- Provide clear, detailed, and effective written and oral reports and updates to all project stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the projects are launched on time and meet deliverables and objectives.
- Perform day-to-day project coordination and administration activities such as tracking, reporting, following up on action items, taking meeting minutes, and producing reports or presentations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure project deliverables meet their specific requirements and deadlines.
- Champion the use of best practices in all aspects of the projects to ensure optimal outcomes.
- As part of the R&D Team support all new product introduction (NPI) projects and prototyping activities.
- Support R&D Team to establish and write internal product specifications and qualification requirements from external suppliers (per ISO 9001:2015 requirements).
- Perform other duties and tasks as required.

**Qualifications**:
**Required Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as Project Management, Engineering, or Science.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or other PM certifications.
- Entry Level or up to five years of experience in Research and Development (R&D) within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong project management experience in a cross-functional environment (including budget and timeline management, scope management, estimating and managing project resources, risk management, timely decision making, critical path identification, business transformation).
- Experience developing simple business case models.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple long and short-term projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work with people at all levels and from different departments.
- Outstanding communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Excellent administrative, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools (_e.g.,_ MS Project, Smartsheet)
- Experience in working in a manufacturing quality management system environment (_e.g_., ISO 9001).
- Travel will be required approximately 2-3 times per year.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in the solar energy industry.
- Experience coordinating Failure Mode and Effect Analysis exercises (DFMEA, PFMEA).
- Experience in continual improvement or other lean manufacturing disciplines.
- Mistake Proofing / Problem Solving (_e.g.,_ 8D methodology).
