Job description

The Company: A very successful, short line machinery and aftermarket parts distributor located in Shelburne, Ontario. We operate a fast-paced business selling agricultural & Industrial parts & components to dealers across Canada.

**Duties**:

- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist customers with product information, pricing, and order placement.
- Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.
- Receive, record and stock parts promptly and accurately.
- Upsell products or services to customers when appropriate.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to effectively communicate and empathize with customers.
- Proficient in order entry and computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Ability to multi-task is essential
- Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle difficult situations.
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs is a must.
- Agricultural parts knowledge an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- farming or farm machinery: 2 years (required)
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Shelburne, ON L9V 2Z4 (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Shelburne, ON L9V 2Z4: Relocate before starting work (required)
