Houle's Project Planning Services department is looking for an** Electrical Planning Assistant** to join the team, based in **Kelowna.**
The Project Planning Services team supports our large Design Build projects across the province, ranging from large residential, office high rises to major hospitals. The team specializes in designing and creating installation drawings from engineering construction documents to the field stage for installation.
The Planning Assistant will support our Electrical Planners working on a few large Hospital projects with data entry, documents control and ongoing maintenance tasks.
**Planning Assistant Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Support Electrical Project planners with the following: specification review, drawing overlays, projects schedule updates and overall document controls
- Keep contract drawings current for Planners from various online sources
- Data entry and document creation
- Track all changes and update the contract drawings to reflect new works as they come in
**Planning Assistant Experience and Skills**:
- Electrical Trade Qualification or experience in electrical and/or industry
- Good understanding of Computer software, such as: Bluebeam, AutocAD, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Understanding of the construction process and ability to interpret construction drawings an asset
- High organized and detail orientated
- Collaborative, reliable, team player
