**Position**:Security Professional

**Type**:Full Time

**Location**: Brockville, ON

**Shift**:Monday - Friday + Weekends

**Schedule**:8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

**Pay Rate**:$19.00/hr

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine patrols of the property (internal and external) to monitor activities and ensure the security of designated areas.
- Control access to the premises by checking identification, credentials, and authorizations of individuals entering the facility.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and report any suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents and provide the necessary assistance.
- Maintain detailed reports of daily activities, irregularities, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
- Ensure compliance with security and safety regulations by staff, visitors, and contractors.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary

**Requirements**:

- Vulnerability sector check required. Reimbursement shall be provided.
- Experience working in homeless shelters is preferred
- Open availability for rotational shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
- Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada up to **40**hours a week.
- First Aid and CPR
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
- Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.
