**Job Title**: Support Group Coordinator - Afghan Women’s Support Program
**Location**: London, ON
**Position Type**: Part-Time/Contract
**Start Date**: July 1st, 2025

**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Report directly to the Project Lead and provide updates on group progress
- Attend and actively participate in weekly support group sessions
- Purchase and organize supplies needed for each session (within budget)
- Submit concise, accurate weekly written reports
- Supervise and support group volunteers during sessions
- Ensure a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for all participants

**Qualifications**:

- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
- Experience in community work or group facilitation is an asset
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity to issues facing Afghan women
- Strong written communication skills
- A driver’s license is an asset (for transporting supplies)
- Proficiency in Dari or Pashto is an asset

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
