**Description du poste**

This part-time seasonal position assists UPS Package Drivers with deliveries and pick-ups of UPS packages at UPS drop boxes and customer locations in and around **Scarborough**Area. **NO DRIVING REQUIRED** The role involves working in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment, which requires continuous lifting, lowering, and carrying of packages. This position is essential to providing excellent customer service through efficiency and dedication.

**Job Type: Part-Time, Temporary**Seasonal

**Work Location: Scarborough**, ON

**Workdays**:Monday to Friday **(Must be available to work all 5 days**)

**Shift Time**:11:00 AM - 3:00 PM **(Flexibility with start and finish times required based on operational needs)**

**Hourly Wage**:**$18/hourly

**KEY

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32kg) unassisted. Typical package weight ranges from 25-35 lbs.
- Meet UPS driver at assigned local meet point
- Deliver and pick up UPS packages efficiently and effectively
- Learn and properly execute UPS package handling/delivery methods
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required
- Record, track, and maintain information about delivered package
- Comply with UPS appearance guidelines by wearing the company-provided vest and uniform

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- This is a part-time position, must be able to work 3-5 hours a day, various start times available between 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Flexibility required)
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32kg) unassisted. Typical package weight ranges from 25-35 lbs.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Must be able to deliver packages by means of walking
- Hours may vary depending on the work volume

**EXPENSES/**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- This is a unionized role and monthly union deductions will apply
- Exposed to hot and cold temperatures while working outdoors and in warehouse facilities

**NOTE: The duration of the contract is until the end of December**2025** with a possibility of extension depending on the work**
