**DKI Saskatoon Disaster Services **is a full-service property restoration contractor and 24 / 7 emergency response company. **Position and hours**:
We are currently hiring for full time **Restoration Technician Lead / Supervisors and Technicians.**
This position would be ideally suited to an individual with experience in the Property Damage Restoration Industry or renovations. However, anyone that has leadership qualities, the drive to succeed for themselves and the company, and has interest in the exciting Property Damage Restoration industry can be trained to suit.
The jobsites will vary from residential homes / condominiums / apartments, to commercial business and industrial facilities.
Standard work hours are Monday to Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm. Occasional over time as required. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours work (i.e. occasional evenings and weekends)
**Responsibilities**:
- Following the direction provided by the Project Manager
- Oversee restoration team on the job site and in our facility to ensure efficiency and professionalism are upheld at all times
- Find ways to maximize efficiencies and profitability on jobs
- Use experience to suggest alternative ways to address emergency services while following industry standards
- Tear out building materials (flooring, drywall, etc.)
- Perform activities including light repairs, demolition and general cleaning as needed
- Assist with training of new Field Staff
- Ensure work is completed according to measurements, specifications, drawings, plans or other production materials/instructions
- Provide up to date communication and information, both verbally and written, to Managers and their teams about the status of the work performed.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines
- Ensure attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people’s property and information
**Traits of an ideal applicant**:

- Highly organized and great attention to detail
- Reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking
- Ability to work flexible hours as required
- Has 2 or more years of work experience within the restoration or renovation industry
- Any Valid Certification through IICRC for: Water Remediation Technician, Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician, Odor Control Technician, Mold Remediation, etc. is an asset.
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Office and standard tablet use
- Experience in the Property Damage Restoration industry
- Valid class 5 drivers license
- Ability to clear a criminal background check
Starting wage is dependent on experience. A comprehensive benefits package will be introduced after the 3 month probationary period is complete. RRSP plan through RBC is also available after 6 months of employment.
