Housekeeping - Day Shift

This Job Offers:

- $19.00/hour
- Work Monday-Friday 7AM until 3:30PM
- Off every Saturday & Sunday
- Full Benefit Package
- Company Pension Match at 5%

Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing building offices and areas as per schedule
- Required to perform additional cleaning duties as per the master cleaning schedule
- Ensure compliance with GMP's, and Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations
- Ensure compliance to food safety and quality programs (FSSC, HACCP)

Specific Duties:

- Adhere to sanitation program guidelines and make recommendations for change or improvement
- Daily housekeeping as per schedule including, but not limited to:

- lunchroom, hallways, stairs, labs, washroom facilities, change rooms, offices within the plant and training room
- sweep, mop, garbage collection, general cleaning and tidying, cleaning doors, windows, chairs and tables, restocking of supplies
- Maintain all cleaning supplies and equipment in a satisfactory manner
- Maintain housekeeping storage room in a clean and organized manner with clear identification of all chemicals stored there
- Outside housekeeping as assigned
- clean other areas of the plant as per the master cleaning schedule
- complete documentation to meet our food safe quality and production requirements

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of WHMIS
- Ability to work with cleaning chemicals
- Position requires physical skills; lifting, climbing, bending
