**Our expectations**:
Reporting to the Director, Labour Relations, the incumbent will collaborate closely with various departments within the company to develop, prepare and fulfill labour relation cases for which they are assigned mandates.
**Your role**:
- Act as an employer spokesperson when renewing collective bargaining agreements for the Rona and Réno-Dépôt banners.
- Negotiate and draft letters of agreement related to existing collective bargaining agreements.
- Actively participate in developing, monitoring and updating strategic directions with regard to labour relations.
- Build a close partnership with the Operations Project teams to ensure that business projects align with the collective bargaining agreements’ reality.
- Make comparisons between the content of all collective bargaining agreements (internal) and some external ones.
- Propose content for monetary negotiation mandates in accordance with the company’s strategic directions in terms of labour relations.
- Thoroughly follow up on the steps subsequent to the signing of a collective bargaining agreement.
- Provide training on specific labour relation topics.
- Represent the company before the Tribunal administratif du travail, if necessary, during conciliation and mediation sessions following complaints.
- Maintain good business relationships with the various unions with a view to continuous improvement in terms of labour relations.
- Be able to replace one’s supervisor during sporadic absences.
**The qualifications we are looking for**:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial relations, law or equivalent.
- Five to seven years of experience in labour relations or human resources, with experience as a spokesperson during the renewal of collective bargaining agreements.
- Experience in labour relations in distribution and retail centres (multiple locations).
- Good proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Available to travel in Quebec and occasionally in Nova Scotia.
- Skilled communicator.
- Proven strategic sense.
- Analytical skills.
- Strong synthesis skills and sound judgment.
- Known for maintaining harmonious professional and business relationships.
- Ability to work under significant pressure in various contexts
- Keen team spirit.
- Keen leadership skills.
