We are seeking PSWs for a LTC home in Penetanguishene. Day, evening, and night shifts are available. We are looking for part-time to full-time staff that can work every other weekend and pick up shifts as needed.

Job Benefits:

- Providing resident-focused care that meets the needs of residents
- Maintaining open communication with residents and their families
- Assisting with personal care including eating, dressing, transferring, toileting, hygiene, grooming, and bathing as per residents’ care plans
- Monitoring and noting any changes to patient care plans
- Providing medication support and management
- Providing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support
- Providing oral and dental care
- Responding to all emergency situations
- All other duties, as assigned

**Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to**:

- PSW certification
- Valid CPR certificate completed within the last year*
- Completion of Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Satisfactory professional references
- Previous experience in a LTC facility is required
- Experience using Point of Care (POC) is required
- Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters
