Marketing Assistant

**Pentagon Security Shutters is a customer focused, family owned manufacturer of rolling security shutters and doors. **We are looking for an experienced **Marketing Assistant** to join our growing team We are looking for an experienced achiever who is excited to contribute to a winning team The Marketing Assistant is responsible for the daily activities of the marketing department. Collaborating closely with the marketing manager and the sales team, this individual is instrumental in driving effective marketing campaigns and maintaining steady lead generation. **General Role & Responsibilities** - Assistance and communication with external marketing company looking after social media, SEO, and paid advertising online - Maintaining and updating two websites - Creation of presentations for the sales team - Updating and creating internal and external company documentation - Researching and prospecting potential dealers for the sales team - Research and analyze customer data like needs, satisfaction, etc. - Communicate with dealers for marketing material requests - All other duties as assigned **Required Skills and Knowledge**: - Excellent written and oral communication skills, communicating directly with clients - Familiar with digital marketing tools including Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, PremierPro, etc - In-depth knowledge of social media platforms - Excellent computer and software skills including Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Windows - Excellent organizational and time-management skills - Ability to work independently, set priorities, manage multiple tasks and projects and meet deadlines - Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment. - Focus on detailed execution, continuous improvement, and willingness to own outcomes. - Willingness to be a "hands-on" member of the team - Proven problem solver and decision maker - Proven ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders **Experience and Education**: - Educational or work background in marketing related roles are definite assets - The completion of a degree or diploma in marketing is an asset **Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time **Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Company events - Dental care - Disability insurance - Extended health care - On-site parking - Paid time off Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday - No weekends Ability to commute/relocate: - Stonewall, MB R0C 2Z0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Education**: - Secondary School (preferred) **Experience**: - Marketing: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
