Accounts Payable Clerk

**The Opportunity**

The Accounts Payable Clerk will perform routine administrative functions pertaining to accounts payables management.

**The Team**

The role will report to the Accounting Supervisor.

**Responsibilities**
- Matching and processing invoices to purchase orders
- Data-entry
- Processing payments
- Sending invoices to upper management for approval
- Reconciliation of credit card statements
- Maintaining vendor files
- Review of vendor statements
- Communicating with vendors
- Improving payables processes
- Reporting on environmental and sustainability metrics

**Qualifications**
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of Accounts Payable experience preferred
- Proficient knowledge or experience in Microsoft Office an asset
- High Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as a team player
