**Job Description - WALL & CEILING INSTALLER**
- **Journeyperson 1 **(3-4 years of experience) - You will read and interpret drawings to determine specifications and requirements; prepare layouts in compliance to building codes using measuring tools; measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of light weight steel studs, drywall, wood, wood substitutes and other materials; install ceiling grids and tiles; material take-offs, coordinate deliveries, and execute projects without immediate direction; help load, unload and move materials and tools onto site; clean work areas and equipment regularly; lead projects including small crews and mentor apprentices; solid understanding of the construction process.
- **Journeyperson 2 **(4-5 years of experience) - Perform all related duties of the Journeyperson 1; lead larger projects and crews, mentor apprentices.
- **Foreperson **(5+ years of experience) - The site Foreperson is accountable for following project plans and schedules and ensuring that crews under his/her direction perform daily and weekly activities to meet production goals. You will communicate directly with the Site Superintendents, General Manager, General Contractors, and Clients as necessary. You will also be involved and supportive in any day-to-day disciplinary decisions to ensure that all safety compliances and protocols are enforced and being adhered to. This position also requires you to be able to prepare wall and ceiling layouts; install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall and ceilings, using hand and power tools; attach gypsum board to studs or furring using screws; measure, cut and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings; install T-bar ceiling of various sizes / drywall hard ceiling installation; problem solve discrepancies from blueprints to actual scope of work.

**Qualifications**
- 3 to 5+ years of experience including effective leadership qualities and supervisory experience
- Able to perform physical work for an 8 hour shift, good dexterity and vision
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Able to meet deadlines and schedules
- Knowledge of industry standards
- Knowledge of safety rules and regulations
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and good interpersonal skills
- Able to communicate effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to learn quickly pertaining to scope of work
- Good time management, decision making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Able to recognize, enforce and adhere to safety protocols including PPE requirements
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs., work at heights, various noise levels
- Available to work Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekends, nights, holidays, and out of town work
- Willing to travel to different jobsites
- Must have your own hand tools
- Must have your own transportation with valid license
