**Job Description**:

- Assist with work orders as received for various responsibilities throughout the site.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- Arrange furniture and equipment for special events or office moves.
- Assisting with set up and tear down of Pilot Plants.
- Assist skilled tradesman.
- Participate in meetings and training to gather information and skills to perform certain functions.
- Respond to emergency situations during and after hours to resolve immediate safety concerns.
- Transport tools, supplies and equipment.
- Set up with functions around site e.g. BBQ’s, large meetings and social functions.
- Prepare written materials (e.g. activity logs, truck log books and inspections.
- Perform preventative maintenance duties on various equipment e.g. (dust collectors, roof top fans, onsite vehicles, ventilation hoods, etc
- Snow removal
- Grounds Keep
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
- Answers and directs telephone calls appropriately.
- Greets scheduled and unscheduled visitors and directs to appropriate area or person
- Open, sort and forward incoming mail and prepare/send outgoing mail, including external mail drop off.
- Update and distribution of internal phone list on a monthly basis
- Assist SGS business units as required.
- Prepare the monthly AP accruals for the site
- Receive all freight invoices to requisition or distribute
- Assist HR as needed with invoice requisitioning and expense reports

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of a High School Diploma or a General Educational Development equivalency (GED).
- Post-secondary education in an administrative field is a strong asset.
- Previous working experience in a Receptionist/Administrative related role is required.
- Previous working experience in maintenance/general laborer would be an asset.
- Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
- Ability to work well with others & independently.
- Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Works well under pressure.
- Extended hours and shift work may be required from time to time.
- Ensures full compliance with the company’s Health & Safety, Code of Integrity, and Professional Conduct policies.
