**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects.
- Utilize construction estimating software such as HeavyBid, Bluebeam and Xactimate to create accurate and detailed estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to gather necessary information for pricing and budgeting.
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best possible rates for materials and services.
- Monitor project budgets and provide regular updates on cost variances throughout the project duration.
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather data that may impact estimating accuracy.
- Prepare detailed reports that outline estimated costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead expenses.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in construction estimating software, particularly HeavyBid and Bluebeam.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
- Exceptional analytical skills to evaluate complex data sets and make informed decisions.
- Effective project management skills to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear interaction with clients, contractors, and team members.

Pay: From $82,500.00 per year
