**Hiring Exterior Painters & Labourer’s**

Prairie Weatherproofing is a stucco weatherproof coating contractor in Saskatoon. We are looking for **PAINTERS and General Labourers **to join our crew.

We perform work 7 days a week. Hourly wage will range between $20-$26/hour and be based on experience.

You should be comfortable working off of ladders, sometimes at heights and spending significant time outdoors.

Although no-prior experience is needed, we are looking for individuals who may possess the following experience:

- Familiarity in proper maintenance and operation of tools including:

- Pressure washers
- Grinders
- Maintenance and use of Coating Material Pumps
- Ladder/ scaffold set ups
- Application of exterior coatings - roll on and sprayed
- Proper masking techniques
- brush painting
- Maintenance and use of typical commercial paint sprayers when required.

- Has hobbies outside of work (employees that excel with us are active in hiking, fishing, boating, kayaking, climbing, and generally very outdoorsy)
- Enjoys working outdoors for long periods of time.
- Doesn’t mind getting dirty.
- Is mechanically inclined.
- Is coach-able.
- Is organized and keeps things tidy.
- **Not scared of heights and being on ladders**

Typical job duties may include:

- Keeping job-sites clean and tidy.
- Laying out drop sheets
- Using drills and removing hardware
- Caulking and taping
- Some Stucco repairs/patches
- Using ladders
- Masking off and protecting areas not meant to be coated.
- Rolling weatherproof coatings onto vertical wall surfaces
- Moving equipment from job site to job site

Training and supervision will be provided on our weatherproofing system.

A vehicle would be an asset, as our job sites change regularly, and we will not be responsible for arranging pick ups in and around the city.

We have a low-pressure work environment; our crew members are very easy-going and respectful to each other and our clientele. We strive for **Quality over Quantity**.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1 month

**Salary**: $20.00-$26.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
