We are hiring for a Full-Time/Part-Time Meat Department Clerk with a wage range of $15.00-$18.00 at our location in Edmonton, AB. (Glenora Location)
**Job Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Work alongside the Butcher Shop Team to complete prep work in the Meat Department
- Assist with grinding, weighing, pricing, wrapping, and packaging meat products for purchase
- Stock and rotate display products by adhering to FIFO, cleanliness, and merchandising
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area
- Properly handle and store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Package and display smoked products for purchase
- Handling customer service inquiries and providing an excellent customer experience

**What you Bring**:

- Positive, can-do personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Comfortable working during peak grocery deli hours (i.e. evenings, daytime, weekends, and holidays)
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
- Experience in a meat department or butchery setting is an asset
