**Primary Qualifications: (MUST READ before applying)**
- **Location**: Must live in or near **Kitchener/Waterloo** OR have reliable transportation (own a car) to work shifts there.
- **Availability**: Must have **open or flexible availability**, with priority given to those available for **afternoon shifts** where coverage is most needed.
- **Schedule**: Willing to work **weekdays and weekends** (including every other weekend).
- **Shifts**: Comfortable working **shorter shifts (minimum 3 hours)** as required.
- **Flexibility**: Willing to travel to client locations within and outside the Waterloo Region when needed.

**Job Brief**:
Promyse Home Care is looking for caring, formally trained and experienced Personal Support Worker(s) to provide support for our clients in a professional and compassionate manner.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Provide Personal Care to clients (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Cook (Prepare meals based on the client care plan)
- Clean (Mop, Laundry, Clean Kitchen/Dishes)
- Home support
- Companionship
- Appointment accompaniment

**Other Job Qualifications**:

- Dedication and passion to work as a PSW is a MUST
- Pleasing personality and compassionate
- **Must be living in Ontario Canada**, preferably near in the following locations:

- Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge **-**Willingness to serve clients throughout Waterloo Region.
- **Required**: Must be a certified PSW or international nurse
- Must have a vehicle and driver's license or a reliable vehicle for transportation
- Experience with Alzheimer's, Dementia, Parkinson's, etc. is preferred
- Criminal record check with Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
- Current CPR Training (not expired)
- Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray result
- COVID Vaccination (Completely vaccinated - 2 doses)
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills
- Personal cell phone with a mobile data plan.
- Willing to visit 1-3 clients locations/day
- Minimum 1 to 2 years paid work experience providing seniors or disabled adults with care
- Willing to start to work immediately (within 1-7 days)

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Paid PSW work experience in Canada: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- PSW certificate or equivalent skills (RN, RPN) (required)
