**What you will do**:

- Accounts Payable:_
- Process all invoices for payment through invoice routing system and enter into accounting system
- Process cheque runs
- Maintain A/P subledger of accounting system
- Reconciliation of vendor accounts
- Manage internal and external customer queries pertaining to A/P
- A/P filing
- Accounts Receivable:_
- Importing of event clients and invoices from events system
- Process all manual invoice requests
- Taking client payments in a timely fashion
- Recording of deposits
- Maintain A/R subledger of accounting system
- Collection of client accounts
- Manage internal and external customer queries pertaining to A/R
- Other Responsibilities:_
- Prepare and/or import journal entries from the sales system
- Daily Finance mail distribution
- Comply with the organization’s Health and Safety program
- Other duties as assigned

**What you will bring**:

- 3 years’ experience in an accounting environment - specifically experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Account Reconciliations
- Familiarity with computerized accounting systems - preferably Blackbaud’s Financial Edge and Papersave System
- Experience with an electronic accounts payable invoice approval system
- Well developed organizational and communication skills

**Working Conditions**:

- This position requires the individual to be seated and working at a computer terminal for the majority of the day
- There is also use of filing cabinets to maintain files and occasionally refers to boxed files (on site and in storage) to address inquiries
