**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their shopping needs.
- Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently, processing transactions in a timely manner.
- Handle product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain an organized and clean checkout area while ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Utilize effective time management skills to handle peak hours efficiently.
- Demonstrate basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base.
- Volunteer experience an asset

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
