**Opportunity**

Do you have a passion for working with children and LOVE sport? We are looking for confident characters to teach foundational soccer skills to our 2-8-year old soccer stars.

Pedalheads Soccer is a program like no other which requires you to channel your inner child and put your imagination and creativity to the test. Our coaches use humour, songs and adventures to make our little players fall in love with soccer.

**The Role**

This job is perfect for someone looking for part time hours (in school, working alongside another job etc). This role would be well-fitted for someone who has, or is working on, their Early Childhood Education qualification or enjoys team sports or performing arts. Experience in either playing or coaching sports is preferred though this does not have to be soccer specific, as full training will be given.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Teaching our daily Pedalheads Soccer programs for children ages 2-12 years
- Actively introduce children to new soccer skills
- Ensure the health and safety of children at class or league
- Act as a positive role model and leader at all times
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress

**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**
- Confident communicator who can get on the children's level and encourage and support them to achieve their individual potentials
- Physically fit and able to work 4+ hours per day
- Reliable and able to commit to weekends
- Currently living in Metro Vancouver, BC
- Able to commute to sites across the lower mainland
- 2+ years of experience with children
- Possession of a current standard First Aid CPR-C certificate prior to starting
- Satisfactory criminal record check (for employees 18+) or character reference check (for employees under 18).

**Schedule**
- Weekends only
- Expected hours: 5 - 15 per week
- Work location: on site
