**Job Summary**
As a member of our Patrol team, the Dispatcher plays a key role in maintaining safe and efficient communication across Sasquatch Mountain Resort. You are responsible for monitoring radio traffic, coordinating emergency responses, assisting with record keeping, and providing administrative support to the Mountain Patrol department. This position requires attention to detail, calm under pressure, and clear communication skills. You are a front-line team member, contributing to the safety of guests and staff while supporting multiple departments. - ** Reports to**: Patrol Team Lead or Patrol Director
**Responsibilities**:
- Monitor and record all on-mountain radio communications
- Act as base radio operator during emergency responses
- Complete and file accident reports and incident documentation
- Follow emergency response procedures as outlined by Mountain Safety
- Provide logístical and administrative support to the Patrol department
- Maintain up-to-date entries in CWSAA and Microsoft Access databases
- Keep the medical clinic clean, organized, and stocked; manage laundry as needed
- Support Human Resources and Occupational Health & Safety initiatives as assigned
- Assist with daily administrative tasks for the Outdoor Operations Manager and Patrol Supervisor
- Collaborate across departments to support overall resort operations
- Perform snow clearing and light physical work as needed
- Follow all resort safety and communication policies
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold guest service standards
- Other duties as assigned
**Job Requirements**
- Previous dispatch or administrative experience is an asset; training provided
- Comfortable managing emergency communication and multitasking under pressure
- Physically capable of assisting with snow clearing and outdoor tasks
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Available to work weekends and holidays
- Willingness to support cross-department functions during peak periods
- Must enjoy working in a family-focused environment and supporting guests of all ages
- Adaptable, calm under pressure, and solution-oriented
- Snow removal and cross-departmental support required from all SMR positions
