**The Company**:
At Speeders, we love to race. We’re the first indoor electric go-karting facility in Canada, and for over 11 years, we’ve been delivering an exhilarating and safe racing experience to racers of all skill levels.

We offer many types of racing, including drop-in racing and group and corporate events. Our goal is to provide a safe, family-oriented, social environment where individuals can enjoy themselves while learning some new skills behind the wheel.

**The Opportunity**:
**Job Purpose**

Our servers are to provide a professional yet exciting dining experience, by creating a positive and authentic connection to customers and their families. As part of an ever changing day with no hour being the same, our servers will be light on their feet and energetic Help us serve 'fun' at Speeders

**Job Duties**
- Demonstrates the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly and positive demeanour
- Demonstrates knowledge of and can explain our menu in a manner that exudes a passion for our food and drink programs
- Demonstrates teamwork and communicates positively and professionally to all departments to ensure that guest needs are being met at all times
- Setup, takedown and ongoing cleanliness of the Server station(s)
- Demonstrates and adheres to proper steps in responsible service of alcohol
- Demonstrates the willingness and ability to go above and beyond for any guest
- Provide excellent customer service and experiences
- Make suggestions based on customers dietary requirements or time limitations
- Take, input into POS and serve food/drinks orders
- Keep tables clean and tidy at all times
- Deliver checks and collect payments
- Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff and other service team members
- Adhere to all relevant health department laws/regulations and all customer service guidelines
- Enthusiastic, outgoing and positive attitude
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- Server experience is an asset and preferred for seasonal.
- Current provincial ProServe Certification considered an asset.
- Knowledge of drinks and standard cocktails
- Must be able to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to handle groups and large parties
- Great Communication and presentation
- Excellent customer service skills.
