**Sales & Trade Marketing Specialist (Wine & Spirits, Hybrid)**
Our client, a leading **Alcoholic Beverage - Consumer Goods** company located in** Mississauga, ON** is looking to hire a Sales & Trade Marketing Specialist to lead their team, on a **Permanent, Full-time** basis.

Reporting into the Vice-President Sales, the Sales & Trade Marketing Specialist will be responsible for providing analytic support and insight for the company, and for serving as the primary liaison between Retailer partners (i.e. LCBO, Grocery chains etc.), internal stakeholders, and the company’s agency partners.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Analytics**:
- Collaboration on a daily basis with the sales team to provide insights and counsel team on overall performance; define expectations and monitor progress
- Oversee Company’s third-party sales analysis tool providers
- Participate and present business learnings within on-going Retail team meetings and Company Wholesale team meetings
- Survey Company’s business analytics tools on an on-going basis to determine and track our portfolio success and challenges, to determine the business results of competing brands, and remain apprised of market trends and development within specific product categories, geographic regions, and accounts
**Trade Marketing**:
- Working with the VP of Sales to develop quarterly Area Manager targets as well as helping to enable Company’s CRM tool to ensure Area Managers can achieve their highest performance
- Lead Company’s merchandising planning sessions for Retail and LCBO channels with key stakeholders - Sales Leadership Team, Marketing, and Finance
- Plan, execute, and evaluate sales, promotions, and marketing of Agency brands
**Project Management**:
- Act as the primary communication between the Wholesale Team and the Marketing team to support in the creation by Marketing of tools to enable the successful selling of Company’s portfolio in all wholesale channels
- Act as the coordinator and SME for the Sales Team in the completion of the demand forecast which is updated on an on-going basis, liaise with Colio’s Supply Chain as part of the Integrated Demand Plan process, and liaise with LCBO Inventory Planners on a monthly basis
**Other**:
- Participate in Supplier Planning Initiatives, including supplier meetings, programming communication and business review
- Develop and enhance relationships with the trade through participation in food/alcohol/industry related events
- Overnight travel as required & some evening and week-end work as necessary
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
**EDUCATION**:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
**EXPERIENCE**:
- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of the rules and regulations of all Provincial Liquor Boards an asset
- Beverage supplier programming and price structure experience an asset
- Valid driver’s license
