**General Manager, New Contemporary Restaurant**

APC is seeking a talented, high energy, progressive individual to lead and manage the opening and operations of a best-in-class, on-trend restaurant located within the newest landmark in Winnipeg at Assiniboine Park. We are recruiting for a General Manager to assist in the opening of this new contemporary restaurant and coffee bar. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and ensure revenue targets are achieved. This includes implementing the sales strategy & tactics to ensure our guests receive quality products and have a wonderful experience that exceeds their expectations each and every time they visit the restaurant or coffee bar.

**Required EDUCATION, TRAINING, LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS**
- A high school diploma and/or GED equivalent.
- Diploma or certificate in hospitality/restaurant management preferred; Bachelor’s degree would be an asset.
- Safe Food Handling Certification.
- Smart Choices Certification.
- Must possess a valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office along with strong knowledge of Food and Beverage software.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

**Required EXPERIENCE**
- Extensive wine and cocktail knowledge required.
- Experience in coordinating, executing, and opening a new restaurant concept.
- 8 plus years' supervisory experience in the Hospitality or Restaurant industry along with training and developing food & beverage employees.
- 5 plus years’ in managing a fully operational two shift restaurant.
- Experience in a fast-paced, contemporary food service environment required.

Salary range: $73,000 - $80,000 dependent on work experience.
