**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, experienced Pizzeria Assistant Manager, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is available during all shifts. As the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the manager in leading a team that consistently follows brand standards to ensure that we keep our customers satisfied so that they return often and recommend us to others. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all team members work towards providing the best tasting pizza on time and as promised.

**Accountabilities**
- Assist in managing the pizzeria in an effective and efficient manner while maintaining superior customer service and satisfaction
- Provides direction to the team during shift; acts as a coach and mentor, role modeling the expectations of customer service and upholding Topper’s standards
- Assist in coaching, educating and motivating the team to maintain a high-quality customer service experience
- Ensure cleaning and maintenance schedules are followed to maintain cleanliness of equipment and pizzeria in general
- Assist in building sales and maximizing profits by effectively interacting, developing, and communicating our company and customer expectations to the entire team
- Dispatch orders for delivery to maximize ATD times and efficiencies
- Provide effective Dough Management, Prep Management and equal assignment of duties
- Assist in the management of food costs
- Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Identifies opportunities for sales building through community involvement
- Assist in the execution of local store marketing initiatives to build brand awareness and loyalty
- Make great Pizza
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- High school Diploma/GED or College Diploma
- 2-3 years of supervisory or management experience
- Experience in the fast-food service industry is considered an asset
- Superior customer service knowledge, skills and abilities
- An effective communicator coupled with the ability to coach and develop team members
- Strong problem-solving skills coupled with effective decision-making abilities
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills with a strong sense of urgency

**Working Conditions**:

- Capable of lifting 25lbs
- Able to work on your feet for long periods of time
- Able to operate kitchen equipment
- You will be required to interact with all team members, management, vendors and our customers
